No. 1 in underwater excavation

No other civil engineering company in Berlin has such a wealth of experience in underwater excavation as BTB. With large excavators of up to 100 tonnes, floating dredgers and suction dredgers we can dig pit depths down to 30 meters. Our dredgers are equipped with GPS, meaning that a precise earth excavation is possible under the most difficult of conditions. Our international team of specialists has been entrusted with underwater excavation in large projects such as the connection of the S21 to Berlin central train station or the new construction of the A100 in Berlin-Treptow.

EXTRACTION OF FINE SAND & DUMPING AREA FOR RUBBLE

Opencast mine in Knoblauch Kapellberg Ketzin

With the takeover of the company K.S.E. in 1999 we were able to integrate our own opencast mine into our corporate group. Here, 1.5 million tonnes of fine sand are waiting for extraction. This sand can be processed as aggregate for building materials to plaster sand or even to certified playground sand.

At the same time our open-cast mine provides a dumping area for 2 million tonnes of rubble and soil. The greatest advantage of this is that we can cost-effectively combine the dumping of rubble with a return supply of sand in a load for load transportation.

In addition to the natural materials of the site at this location we also provide recycling materials such as topsoil, filling soil and gravel.

Disposal of earth

Over a hundred containers and a fleet of advanced dumper trucks guarantee a rapid, safe and flexible transportation of excavated earth from your construction site.

Recycling

In our own, centrally situated recycling plant we treat mineral construction waste, soil, sand, mixed construction waste as well as contaminated soils.
