In our 25 ha recycling plant in Berlin we treat soils and mineral construction waste following environmental standards. These materials form the basis for new roads, railway lines and buildings in the entire region.

Disposal of Construction Waste

We have been certified by TÜV Rheinland (the Technical Inspection Agency of Rhineland) as a waste management facility for the collection, transport, storage and treatment of building materials.

On-site Treatment

To reduce your volume of waste disposal and your transport costs, we also treat soils and construction waste with our mobile facilities directly on the construction site.

Short Routes

Our recycling plant is only 10 minutes by truck from the centre of Berlin (Berlin-Mitte), reducing your transport costs and causing minimum impact on the environment.

Railway Sidings

With 2 railway sidings your construction waste can be mass transported to us in an environmentally friendly manner and then transported to other construction sites after recycling.

Contaminated Materials

Contaminated materials e.g. railway gravel or highway asphalt can be disposed of in an appropriate manner – often in our own specialized facility.

Your waste management facility in Berlin

Only a handful of building contractors in Berlin have the equipment, the experience and the appropriate certifications to cover the entire logistics value chain for the disposal of construction waste.

Within the BTB-group you will receive all services from one contractor from excavation and demolition to transport and the treatment of soils and building materials. We are the only building contractor with waste disposal in Berlin that can take up to 1 million tons of construction waste and rubble due to our 25 hectare recycling facility.

All of our recycling facilities have been officially licensed and certified by TÜV Rheinland (the Technical Inspection Agency of Rhineland). You can view our certification online under the nationwide specialist company register eEFBV.

Crushing and screening units

We break up and screen bunker concrete and bridge concrete, gravel or asphalt into standardized grain mixtures. These can then be reused as recycled building materials.

Sorting plants for mixed construction waste

Mixed construction waste is carefully sorted into components. In this way we can separate valuable soil and recyclable construction waste from paper, wood, plastics and scrap.

Mobile screening units

With smaller, mobile screening plants, we are able to prepare your soil directly on the construction site. This can then be transported away inexpensively or directly reused.

Facility for decontamination

Since 2014 we have been operating our own recycling facility for the storage and treatment of contaminated soils and mineral waste e.g. railway gravel.

Proper disposal for contractors

The recycling of construction waste is regulated in Germany by a large number of statutory regulations. As a developer and the owner of construction waste, you are thus responsible for the proper disposal e.g. of excavated earth or contaminated materials.

As a certified waste management facility in Berlin we take on the inspections required by the Recycling Management Act, the transport and recycling of all building materials as well as the necessary verification from the building site. As a developer you can thus rely 100% on us for the legal disposal of your construction waste.
